What
must be kept in mind is that Marcel talks about breeding pigeons and not about
breeding pairs. In the whole of his pigeon career he had the luck to possess two
real breeding pairs, and they are:
- One
breeding pair that was amongst the pigeons purchased at Jan van Gijs in
1971.
- later the top class pair 87-835 ‘De Witpen’ x 86-169 ‘Mooi
Licht’
These pigeons produced superior offspring, especially paired to each other
but also when paired to other partners, many winners against massive
birdages and in many generations.

Loft
of the youngsters and the breeders

After the sale in 2002 a
new breeding loft was formed. It contains the eight pigeons that were not sold,
the direct ‘De Klak’-pigeons from 2002 and 2003 as well as some pigeons from
2002 bred from Marcels top pairings, a total of 20 up to 24 pairs.

kept (from 2001 or older) are:
