Breeding

Pairing up the breeders happens just after the first sunday in Januari. Alles pairs are crossbred, because experience tought them that the best racers were bred that way. From the breeders two rounds of youngsters are bred for own use. The rest of the year the breeders fill in the high demand for the youngsters and for bons given away for good causes which were sold during the wintertime.
The yearlings in the racingteam are paired up by the end of February and are used as feeders for the youngsters of the breeders. Ather weening the youngsters, the yearlings again are being seperated again afther sitting 10 days to go on widowhood. The older racers are paired up first in march and after two times sitting 10 days they will go on widowhood as well. Also the team of naturals will be mated around halfway march and from then on stay on natural.

Racing

All early bred youngsters will be raced under the darkeningsystem and raced from the perch. They race the whole programm until Troyes. All cocks are raced on widowhood, in which the yearlings do short distance and some long distance racing. if the moult doesn't show up too early they will be raced in Bordeaux or Bergerac. The two year olds and older widowers will be raced two or three overnightraces per season, depending on the cirsumstances of the first race. As mentioned the widowers are mated in the beginning of march and after sitting two times on 10 day eggs, they will go on widowhood untill the last overnightrace. The naturals ar mated halfway march to go on eggs, and will rear up a youngster so now and then. The hens are raced on hatching eggs or 4 day old squakers or even older youngsters, depending of the form at that momentum.

Medical

The medical guidance is being practised by two vets. In wintertime directly after the moult a paratyphoidcure will be given. In spring all birds get their paramixovaccination. Prior to mating a the droppings are tested and when sitting on eggs the birds will be treated against cancer. After that all season birds will receive no more curements. All cures are done on the food. The youngsters will receive a colicure directly after stopping the darkningperiod in the drinker. Furthermore some herbs and homeopathic product are given.
