The racingteam were all bred from the next mentioned breeders. From these breeders the partnership bred several youngsters, crossed in the best possible way. In their search for the best, the breeders were obtained from the next champions:

From Brugemann Bros of Assendelft many top quality birds were bought from the following golden lines

  • de Orhan 

  • de Oude 62 

  • wegvlieger enz. 

  • De Aatje came direct from the Brugemann Bros which already bred 10th and 18th national Barcelona 1998. Aatjes proved a top quality breedinghen with several cocks.

From Cees van der Laan of Catricum many good breeders were brought in. Cees is one of the toplofts on the longest distances, good friend of the family so they were able to get the best on a regular basis from th breedingloft. This includes from the lines of:

  • De Texier

  • Braakhuis 

  • Van der Wegens 

  • Oostenrijk 
In the northern parts of the Neterlands lives another friend in the sport by the name of Jacob Keun of Donderen. The distances he had to race are more than 100 kms more that what the Laan partnership are used to. This man had absolute topclass material on his lofts from which several moved to Westwoud.

Also from nearby Hoogkarspel from the Vertelman partnership the very best came to Aat and Pe Laan. Direct youngsters from the following proven breeders came onto their lofts:

Futhermore birds were brought in from Nico Volkens of Bergen of his famed Bonte Koppel and a sister to Joyce, 

and the blood of the great Ys Kaptein of Akersloot came to make an effort.
