A. & B. LEIDEMAN BROTHERS, HARDENBERG

The brothers André and Bert Leideman started in pigeon racing in 1979 and from the beginning on they were successful. But both brothers wanted more!! Inspired by the performances of toppers their quest for better birds began. A quest however that remains until the present day!!

THE OLD STOCK PAIR
At the base of the present successful colony is the old stock pair:
‘TIP TOP’ X ‘ZEEUWS MEISJE’

Left Andre, right Bert

‘TIP TOP’, now deceased, was bred from the lines of ‘Van Damme’, Olympiad bird Utrecht for the H. & O. partnership from Nieuwendijk. He descends from the strain Jan Zoontjens from Riel.

‘ZEEUWS MEISJE’ is a direct hen through Koen Minderhoud, from the lines of the famous ‘Picanol’ from Gaby Vandenabeele.

At this moment already 10 children and some grandchildren of the old stock pair house the breeding lofts of both brothers.

As times passed, several toppers came to Hardenberg, that excelled in performing, especially when crossed to offspring of the old stock pair:

And still the quest for better birds continues. The latest acquisitions are:

The pigeons of the Leideman brothers are birds with mordant, that excel especially with real pigeon weather. The more difficult the circumstances, the better their pigeons perform!

Year in, year out the pigeons perform fabulously!! But also other fanciers perform extremely well with pigeons of the two successful brothers.

What to say of the extraordinary performances of the Leideman pigeons at champions like Frans Zwols from Gramsbergen, mrs. T. Meringa from Odoorn and Bart Reurink from Klijndijk.

Look further in this loft-presentation and convince yourself of the class of the Leideman-birds!!
