His family is for 70 percent based on birds he got from  P. Boudewijns of  Helmond.  They are all of the bloodline of  "Beroemd Stamkoppel " which means  ‘Famous breeding Pair’. Other birds came from Robert  Venus of Oeren-Alveringen from Belgium. They all descend from  "Super-Crack Crusson" 457421-68F. This famous pigeon won in 4 years’ time  43 prizes 1 in 10 among which 11 first prizes including 1st National  St. Vincent in 1972, 1st National Barcelona in 1974 and 1st  National Narbonne  in 1974. National refers to France.  In the early 90-ies also birds were got from P. v. Eijnden of Deurne and H. v. Berlo of Mierlo, pigeons off of their best of course.  

  
 After Willy Looijmans won 1st National Barcelona he invested a good deal of money. He purchased babies of National winners in order to mate them with " De Boudewijn" the  Barcelona winner of 1997 and his sons and daughters.

"Stamkoppel"

"Stamkoppel": The cock of the basic couple “De Chateauroux" was purchased at the total auction of Antoon Loomans in 1991 because of his excellent record. De hen was bred by Willy himself, she is a crossing Venus and  van Berlo.

"De Barcelona Duivin" NL'93-4086584 is a daughter off of this pair. She won 15th National and 9th International Barcelona (hens). Her nestsister ("De Dax Duivin") NL'93-4086583 won 55th National Dax (14,220 birds). A grandson '98-9860119 won 29th National Dax in 2000.. A son NL'92-4131698 was 2nd Ace fond in the Combine  CCO Deurne and 1st Ace fond regional (in Someren) in 1997.

"De Chateauroux" himself won 19 prizes at long distance (one day races). Some results in the first 20 prizes are:
