NL 03-1696712 “Famke”, a bird of Adriaan was member of the Dutch team at the Westeuropean Countrycup in Dortmund, Germany, January 2006.

She is the 3^rd National Shortdistancebird of Holland 2005.

Her mother is one of our Olympicbirds from Porto 2005: “het Voske” ( granddaughter  “Olympiade 06 “ ), her father is a brother to “Wuppie” ( 100% Jos de Klak ).

On the Olympic in Porto (Portugal), January 2005, we had 3 hens in the Dutch Standardteam! They are beautiful by hand and topracers as well.

NL-2003-1696777 “Berta 77”, was the nr. 1 hen of the Dutch team. She is a daughter of  NL-01-1886700, a direct G+S.Verkerkcock and “Josje”, a 100% Jos de Klakhen with 31 prizecards in 3 racingseasons.

“Berta 77” is only raced as youngster and yearling. As yearling in 2004 she made 12 pricecards, 10 of them minimum 1:10. Her best results on the picture below.

NL-2000-1172810  “de Rode Grijsoger”, is a daughter of “de Bruinoger”, a son of the best middledistancebird of the Federation and a direct Jos de Klakhen.

In her career “de Rode Grijsoger” won 37 pricecards. The best results on the picture below.

NL-2002-2222129  “het Voske”, has the same father as “de Rode Grijsoger”, her mother is a daughter of our nr. 1  breedinghen  “Olympiade 06”. “het Voske” is a very good  racer with 11 pricecards in 2004.

Adriaan Roest & Hatty Roest

Our colony is mainly based of the worldfamous Janssen strain. During the nineties we bought 14 directs from the Janssen brothers of Arendonk. We also brought in some directs from Jos de Klak of Reusel since 1994. At this moment still some of those direct De Klak birds are in stock. As you know, De Klak is 100% pure Janssen. In recent years our stockloft has been improved by bringing in directs from Belgian champion Andre Roodhooft from Pulderbos. Andre Roodhooft again was crowned in 2002 as ‘King of the Antwerp Union’ the most famous Union in the world. He is owner of just as much direct Janssen birds as the famous brothers of Arendonk. Furthermore direct from the father and son partnership Gerard and Bas Verkerk from Alphen aan de Rijn. We bought there youngsters of Olympic Ronaldo, Olympic Survivor, Olympic Sogno and other topbreeders. This strong partnership, with a colony bases on the best De Klak lines trough De Wit Bros, have breed some more than excellent racers which led them to participating in several Olympiads with the best racers of the Netherlands.

“New on the breedingloft 2004 / 2005” 
In the autumn of 2003 we had the opportunity to buy two direct Janssens in Arendonk. We didn’t hesitate. The first bird is a nice cock (photo) from the lines of “de Vos”,”Rakker”,”Kapot Borstbeen” and “Goede Donkere”, the other one is a wonderful hen (photo). She is a grandchild to  “den Buel” and on her mother’s side we find “de 019” and “de Raket” in the pedigree.  

The birds of the partnership Gerard and Bas Verkerk were allready successful on our racingloft. This year we bought 2 youngsters of “Casanova”x”Intuition”. “Intuition” is one of the best breeders of the partnership. She gave topracers with several cocks and with the “Casanova” as well.

Than 2 of our best racinghen’s will be in the breedingloft next year. These are “Wuppie”, 1st Nijmegen  6544 b.,1^st Maaseik  1139 b., a.s.o. and the “Rode Grijsoger”, 1^st Maaseik  708 b.. 1st Houdeng  2888 b., a.s.o.  

May 2005 we purchased 4 youngsters from the Borgmansbrothers, Reusel. After their uncle Jos de Klak died, they are the “treasurekeepers” of the Klakstrains.

Late in the autumn we purchased two direct G.+S.Verkerkbirds.We bought  from “Stallion” (2^nd NPO Chateauroux 6664 b.) x “Total Perfection” (mother “Robbie”) and from “Bruce” (father “Unbelievable”) x “Bunny” (halfsister “Unbelivable”)

Than 5 of our finest racingbirds will be in the breedingloft in 2006:

• NL-99-1548035, 68 prizecards in 7 seasons,100% Jos de Klak,

• NL-00-1172806, 61 prizecards in 6 seasons, daughter of the Olympiade 06,

• NL-01-1080080, 15 times in 3 seasons in races over 500 km and 14 prizecards, Janssen lines, 

• NL-03-1696701, see best racers of 2004, Janssen x Olympiade 06 and

• NL-03-1696994, f.i. 1^st Gennep 1978 b.,1^st Zutphen 1252 b., brother Olympiade 06 x 038 Britney.  

The first 4 are hens, the 994 is a cock.

“In 2006 we purchased 3 youngsters direct from the lofts of Peter van de Merwe, Dordrecht: a fullsister of “Miss Magic”, f.i.1^st Chantilly 22571 b. and 1^st Chantilly 43207 b. (2 different races), one from “Sister Joyce””, f.i. 1^st Acebird Middledistance federation 1999 and a halfsister to “Miss Magic”.
Than , of course 3 youngsters from the lofts of  Gerard and Bas Verkerk, Alphen aan de Rijn:
this time youngsters of “Pavarotti”, father to “Estelle” and “Taylor”, from ”Revenge”, 2^nd National Acebird 2005, 1^st Oudenaarde 6882 b., 1^st Niergnies 5766 b.,etc and from “Robin Hood”, 1^st Chateauroux 3769 b., 1^st Bourges 3286 b.,etc..
Two daughters from “Gummi”, 20 times in the first 20 in Federationraces x “Hanni”,f.i. 5 times first in the Federation. They came from the lofts of Mr. Klaus Stieneker, one of the leading German lofts.
Last but not least came back to our lofts the 98-1891034, f.i. 1^st Lommel 3424 b.,1^st Niergnies 982 b., 2^nd Chimay 4580 b., 2^nd Strombeek 3187 b., only raced as a yearling on our lofts and after that sold to Germany. As yearling he became father to 99-035, hen, 68 prizecards included 3 times first, also in the breedingloft now. 

“New on the breedingloft 2007-2008”

Again we purchased some directs from the Borgmansbrothers: two beautiful blue hens, daughters of the “61 doffer uit Beer”, father to f.i. the “Bleekoger van de 61”, Nat. NPO-winner from La Souterraine. The “61 doffer uit Beer” doesn’t fill eggs anymore, so we are lucky….
Than, again we purchased some direct Gerard and Bas Verkerkbirds. This time birds from “Big Thunder”x “Olympic Shakira”, from “Olympic Ronaldo”, Olympic Survivor”, “Olympic Survivor”, “Olympic Sogno” and “Figo”.
One direct Louis van Looncock, a fantastic bluepied from the old lines. He came to us in spring 2007 and mated to our ‘de Rode Grijsoger”, he gave already 2 successful young hens.
F.i. one of them won a first against 3269 birds!  
From Mr. Rainer Puttmann, formal National Champion of Germany and owner of a super breedingloft came 2 Reynaerts: both grandchildren to “de Goen” and “de Schicht”.
Autumn 2007 we bought 3 direct Jos de Klakbirds, born 2002 and 2003, with the famous “Blauwe 613”, the “897 Janssen”, the “de Knook”, father to the 613 and the “985”, mother 613 in their pedigrees.
From Kris van Massenhoven formal National Champion of Belgium on the Shortdistance came a son of “de Vos”, 15 x first.
Than last but not least: some direct Peter van de Merwebirds again: Grandson “Blauwe Crack”, from “Zus Wonder Girl”, from “Sister Blauwe Crack”, a grandchild “Super Breeder 048” x “Golden Eye” and 2 Blacks: Grandchild “Bauer” and halfsister “Angel”.

In 2008 we will breed with directs from:
