From the old family he put the best bloodlines in his small new loft. Breeding top-racers became the new challenge. When the birds were auctioned architect Willem bought back some of his most valuable breeders and made a new start. |

To know the birds well is essential and a computer full of information about bloodlines and race results must help him with that. The computer also teaches him which birds survived the selection based on stamina in the long distance races. His goal is now to create a family of birds that is so superior that they can compete the strongest competitors on the 2 day races in all kinds of weather. Stamina, character and endurance are considered to be important elements to achieve this goal.
Architect
Willem van Breene is building further on the fundaments. Together with his good
friend Piet Lazeroms of Zegge he is working hard to perfect a family of birds
which is invincible. Only 2 dozens of related birds was found good enough to be
at the base of a unique stockloft in Holland. Willem cherishes his old family as
he knows the ancestors and their race results. A good strain inevitably must
lead to good results are the words of ‘architect’ Willem.
