"The natural system is like business, you need to have the feeling"

Nederlandse site (Dutch site)

In ‘the city of glass’ (known in Holland as ‘het Westland’) live industrious people. Many people work there in and round the warm hothouses and this work is hard. One of them is Aad van Bergen Henegouwen. He lives in the town of Poeldijk (In the north of ‘het Westland’) which is located between the towns of Monster and Wateringen. This little town existed in 1998 no less than 800 years.

In the area live many good pigeonmen and most of them fancy the real hard long distance races. An early bird in the combine (Naaldwijk) often means an early bird Nationaal as well!

Aad van Bergen Henegouwen loves long distance with all his heart and prefers the real hard races such as St Vincent, Dax, Barcelona, etc Aad cannot imagine a life without pigeons. As he is a busy man he has not much time to spare for the birds that’s why he keeps everything simple. His great passion is racing the birds ‘natural’ so not on widowhood. Aad says: ‘The natural system is like business, you need to have the feeling. The peaks can be high but if things do not work out well the valleys are deep’. That Aad has ‘the feeling’ may be clear when you see how succesful he is.
